Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where are my load recipes, sessions, and lots stored? A. Everything is stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. If you delete the App, your data is deleted with it, so please export a backup first if you want to keep it.
Q. What is the camera / photo access used for? A. Only to attach photos — such as target groups or component lot labels — to your records. Photos stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
Q. What does the charge-range alert do? Does the app tell me how much powder to load? A. No. Reload Log never recommends or suggests a charge weight and provides no load data of its own. It only compares a load against a maximum value that you enter yourself from published manufacturer data, and warns you if your recorded charge exceeds it. It is a record-keeping tool, not a load manual. Always follow current published data from your component manufacturers.
Q. What’s included for free? A. Load recipe management, range session records (grouping/MOA, chronograph velocity, ES/SD), component lot tracking, inventory, and cost calculation are available for free. The node visualization (charge vs. velocity vs. group-size chart), unlimited recipes/sessions, and an ad-free experience are unlocked with Premium.
Q. What are the Premium options? A. A one-time Lifetime purchase ($49.99), and auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly $2.99 / Yearly $18.99). The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Q. I changed devices and my purchase is gone. A. Use “Restore Purchases” in the settings screen to restore purchases made with the same Apple ID. Because records are stored on-device, we recommend exporting a backup before switching devices.
How to Cancel a Subscription
- Open the iOS Settings app
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Reload Log
- Tap Cancel Subscription
You can cancel during the free trial the same way. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete in-app data from the App’s “Settings” → “Delete Data”. Uninstalling the App also removes all on-device data.
